Formed in London in 2007, White Lies are tipped to make a big impact in 2009 with their debut album 'To Lose My Life...' due for release in January. The band's style has earnt comparisons with Talking Heads, while many quarters of the media have labelled them 'the new Editors', due to their use of synth, while maintaining post-punk ethics. The threesome's dark form of indie crossed with dance got them noticed by the NME, who signed them up to play on the 2009 Shockwaves NME Awards Tour alongside Florence and the Machine, Friendly Fires and Glasvegas.
