Venxia are a 5 piece Metal, Hardcore, Progressive band from Maidstone in Kent. We’ve been playing together for about 2 years, doing gigs all around the Maidstone and surrounding areas. We have played at local pubs and clubs, as well as winning Battle of the Bands 2007 in our town, against very good competition.
After the sudden death of our lead guitarist at the beginning of 2008, we took a long break to grieve and to find a new guitarist. Although Dave could never be replaced, we did find a new guitarist, and we are now gigging again.
Our sound is our own although we have big influences from our favourite bands such as Bullet for my Valentine, Coheed and Cambria, and Atreyu to name a few.
Over the last year we have been in the studio recording our songs, and getting a name for ourselves on sites like Facebook and MySpace – which we now have thousands of fans from all over the world.
We are endorsed by DarkSide Clothing and Holysix Family Clothing, who are very interested in the band, and are happy to have us promoting their range of clothes.
