The doctor will see you now...

It's been great meeting some of you at the first couple of Musicians' Clinic sessions at The Hawley Arms...the idea really seems to be taking off and it seems that the bands that have come along have all got something positive out of it. The next one (which is already fully booked) is this coming Monday evening, 30th March.
Went to see We Rock Like Girls Don't at The Enterprise the other week, having previously met them at the Clinic and gone off with one of their CDs. Their live set was great and I was suitably impressed. I think they have a bright future, and it looks like a lot of other people do too.
A number of people from the Clinic have already enquired about band agreements. A band agreement is basically a contract between all the members of a band, which deals with their relationship with each other.
Bands often don't realise it, but simply by joining a band you create a legal relationship which can have a serious effect. Having a band agreement can often help avoid disputes by anticipating in advance the sort of problem that might arise, and helping to provide a solution if it does. I'm pleased to see that bands are taking the idea on board.
