Grunge is not fashionable: Great!

Hi guys,
Just a quick note to say thanks to all the guys who supported us during the Festival! That`s the shortest notice gig we`ve ever done, but it was cool: we got a good review!
Tora!
Inspiration is a natural progression; all bands have to start somewhere and where better to start than by looking to history books? With Tora! you can hear the influences, shaded in and kept in the background by the mesh of techniques and their own original take on grunge. The vocals have the same nasal quality as Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins and there is something of D.I.Y backbeat that reminds me of The Pixies and their rough and ready sound. It’s all new though, I think that’s the key, a breath of fresh air into a genre that never truly recovered from its losses. It has a dangerous and un-predictable vibe, which is the way grunge should be played.
Everyone points out we sound like an early 90`s band and that this is not the music that is happening right now. Thanks god. I`m not a great fan of Singer-Songwriters a la James Blunt our Faux Soul like Amy Winehouse.
Take care and see you around!
