It all started in 2002 as a 6-piece ska/punk band. After playing gigs in and around our home town our band captured the support and fan base it needed to shine!
After parting with a drummer and other members, along with with many months of searching for replacements, we finally found the member we needed to push forward mid 2007. Although we saw members come and go, our music progressed and grew into what we are today; a 4-piece punk/rock ensemble, known as ’The Hold Up’.
Today we showcase new sounds and a new image that we hope will re-establish a strong following. Reviewed as "Quirky" - "Energetic" - "Powerful" - "Influencial". Bring the noise!!
