The Zero Symphony
"A little bit punk, a little bit emo and a lot f*kin metal!!"
The Zero Symphony were formed in that most famous of British musical melting pots - Manchester; although their music owes more to Dimebag Darrell and James Hetfield than it does to Morrissey, Marr, Curtis et al. Combining the pounding rhythms of Pantera with the vocal finesse of the likes of my Chemical Romance and Placebo, they are a thrilling live act, and have recently released their first self funded EP: Silence and Fairytales. best industry quotes
- The Zero Symphony proved difficult to categorize. One thing is for sure though; they have an incredibly big, full sound for a three-piece. Attitude-filled vocals, nice high guitar bends (sparingly-used but effective), choppy metal chords, nifty bass lines in ‘Bleed like Heroin’ and ‘7th Wednesday’ and particularly impressive drumming in ‘For Nothing’ all make for a punchy, confident set.
