The Wheeljacks

"Two crunchy guitars, bass and drums backing strong and melodic vocal lines. Sound leans towards britpop spliced with current indie. Can occasionally be a massive sound but carefully controlled, with tunes that have been described as sounding 'epic' and 'anthemic'."

The Wheeljacks were formed in the summer of '06 by Matt Billington & Tom Gillespie. With influences leaning heavily towards indie, rock and Britpop music of the late 90's to present day, the band have forged a unique modern rock-pop sound of their own.Based in Blackpool, UK, but playing venues up and down the country, The Wheeljacks have been involved heavily in their local music scene whilst also concentrating on maximising their own exposure outside their home town.
