In an unthinkably short span of existence, The Honeymoon Suite have crafted songs that are at the same time equal parts compelling, innovative and kinetic whilst also maintaining a firm devotion to the hook, a chorus and a melody. When matched with a wry,distinctly British take on both vocal and lyrical fronts, in a genre dominated and shaped by American counterparts, the Honeymoon Suite's impression is one to be savoured rather than ignored.Formed in the Spring of 2006, the band instantly struck upon their infetious and distinctive sound, derived from the finer points of contemporary pop-punk, and with an ability to often take their songs beyond the restrictions imposed by suc h a label, whilst at the same time keeping them as melodic and instant as any good pop-punk song should be. The tracks summing up to the bands debut release, "The Matrimony EP" are all testament to the aims the band have had since day one. Listening to tracks such as the hook-ridden "Matrimony" and closer "The Best Elvis In Vegas" the bands knack for writing memorable and equally inventive sing-alongs comes to the fore-front, with lyrics and melodies that lodge in the brain and refuse to be moved for long after the first listen.What makes this band a far more exciting proposition is without a doubt their unfeasibly energetic and unpredictable live show that in such a short time, has propelled the band to becoming one of the most talked about acts on Manchester's considerable live circuit. Without any released material to speak of as this is written, the bands audience continues to grow, as does the anticipation for the release of the debut EP.
