The Fuel are a 4 piece Indie Rock Band formed August 2007. During their first year they played most of the major venues in and around the South West. Highlights of their first year included playing Bristol’s O2 Academy’s main stage and a showcase for SONY BMG. Summer festival slots for Weston’s live and unsigned and a headlining slot for Youth4Youth Festival showed The Fuels ability to play the big stages. Their energetic live performances have earned them a dedicated and enthusiastic fan base. Despite being a young band The Fuel provide a show far beyond their young years. To appreciate the band at their best, they really must be seen live. They were main support for Fightstar at this years Youth4Youth Festival and are releasing their new EP this November. After winning a regional music competition The Fuel were selected by Kieran Pepper, drummer for the Prodigy and Michael Eavis himself, to play at the Glastonbury Festival 2009 on the BBC introducing stage. Next years plans include securing more gigs outside of the area with a particular focus on London.
