20 year old female songwriter/guitarist/singer and visual artist. Released her debut EP "State of the Union 2009" in February 2009. Has received fantastic reviews and is now on independent Rock and Metal radios in 10 countries. The EP has been called "a little masterpiece" (www.cathouse.it, Italy) and "the music this decade has long been waiting for" (Mike Mitchell, bcb106,6FM, UK). Her incredible vocal range from D3 to G6 is fully displayed in the song "Starving Artist" and her vocals have been described as "the range of Mariah Carey with the attitude of Billie Joe from Green Day" (Head Case Radio, USA).
Self taught on guitar since she was 14 she is now specializing in Metal techinques, after attending the Metal Hammer guitar weekend in August 2008.
The Commander makes her London debut on May 22nd at Cafe de Paris/Cafe Rock and she headlines at The Fly on June 1st. She goes on stage with a 3-piece band, with herself on guitars and vocals. She plans to record a full CD in LA later in 2009 with a top producer within Rock/Metal. She has lived in 5 countries and speaks 4 languages. She makes all artwork to her music herself.
