The Adicts were in their prime during the 1980s, but are still active today. They formed in 1975, the same year as The Sex Pistols, however they did not record their debut album, 'Songs of Praise', until 1981. They have since released six more albums, including 'Smart Alex' (1985), which reached number seven on the UK indie charts. The band always performs wearing their 'droog' uniform, made famous by the film 'A Clockwork Orange'. The Adicts are still formed of their original line-up of Keith 'Monkey' Warren, Mel (Spider) Ellis, Pete Dee Davison, Michael 'Kid Dee' Davison, John 'Scruff' Ellis and Dan Graziani. The band are still touring today, and tout themselves as 'the longest serving punk band with their original line-up.'
