With inspiration from the likes of Neil Young, Weezer, The Rolling Stones and the strokes, Taylors Secret were set to make the music that was been compared as a cross between Buddy Holly and The Feeling. The sound we made is a rock/Pop collaboration with always that extra twist that is our own unique branding. So after a year of gigging and home recordings, the band needed to step up, after hearing about a mentoring scheme set up by the local council, this was an opportunity not to missed. The guys met up a few times with photos, demos and crossed fingers, somehow managing to secure Mike Heaton, (Embrace’s very own drummer!!) as their mentor. With the help of Mike and the CYC force! They have been able to create their first 4-track EP, entitled, “Im not sure what its going to be called yet-possibly “Sesame street (you let me down)” or alternatively my vote-“Only squares dance cool”)….
