We are 'teddies' @ newpyjamas.org - cuddle us!!!!!

We are supporting the new pyjamas campaign to raise £15 million for the new Sick Kids hospital to be built in Edinburgh by 2012.
The new pyjamas campaign will raise funds for the new hospital, funding equipment and services which are not provided by standard NHS budgets.
As official ambassadors known as ‘teddies’, we played at Dundas Castle on 28 February, when the new pyjamas campaign was unveiled to an elite gathering of guests from the worlds of business, entertainment and the media.
During the evening we played the song which we wrote specially for the campaign, named ‘Turn it Around’.
We fully support the new pyjamas campaign: music is such a fantastic way of making people feel better and we love the idea of helping that to happen while doing what we love – playing our music.
Blair and Will, were both treated for appendicitis in adult hospitals at the age of 13 so we have firsthand knowledge of these issues in the band.
Here’s a quote from Elaine McGonigle, director of the new pyjamas campaign, she says: ‘When I first heard about Tamikas Treehouse, I had just been appointed director of the new pyjamas campaign to raise £15million for the new Sick Kids hospital in Edinburgh.
‘It seemed so opportune that this group of young guys was beginning to break ground in their field of music whilst I was trying to do the same in ours for a new fundraising campaign. When I met the band I was so impressed - not just with their music but as them as individuals, that I asked them to be the campaign band – and thank heavens they said yes. The guys are so supportive of what we are doing, their music is creative and professional and I know they will be loved by everyone. Tamikas Treehouse really will be helping us in ......making sick kids better....’

We’re looking forward to helping as much as we can.
