I'm a cockney geezah…

We were going to blog everyday that we were down here, but unfortunately there wasn't always wifi available.
I (William) am just back from the gig in Camden tonight; returning the car to its safe garage. I will be going back out with the lads after I finish this blog.
We arrived well on Saturday, after a fairly smooth and uneventful journey down. We were met very hospitably by the family who were accommodating us (and whose daughter's birthday party we were playing) and got settled in very comfortably.
We went out for a lovely meal, and afterwards went to check out the club we were going to be playing at, The Lounge, managed by the lovely Nadine. Then we had a couple of drinks at the Queens Head (no apostrophe, I'm afraid to say) and went home,
Sunday was very busy, with a very short unsatisfying soundcheck; made tighter with Blair collecting his parents from the airport, and problems with the PA. The party started with very poor quality sound, for which we apologise, Fortunately after a short break, we managed to get ourselves a clear crisp sound with help from a local sound enthusiast, and played an absolute belter for the rest of the performance. Everyone that was there had a great time, and as a result we did too.
We left today for Camden town, and after losing each other in our two cars at least 15 times, we arrived to the lovely congestion charge of £20.
Harry, Blair, Gordon and Ross took the famous 'tube' while I fought with Blair's Sat Nav. 45 minutes and 1 mile later, we arrived for soundcheck.
By the time we went on, plenty of people had arrived, and, once again, we played a very satisfying set to a very appreciative audience. It was fantastic to be in a completely foreign place with such a supportive crowd - we've absolutely loved it down here.
Tomorrow we've got a couple of meetings with a couple of important people, but I'm not giving anything away at the moment. Sorry!
We'll be back up before the end of the week for our gig at Club 29.
It just gets better and better!
Cheers for reading, we'll talk soon.
