Sparkadia hail from Sydney, Australia and were formed in 2004. They still consist of their original line up of Alex Burnett (vocals and guitar), Tiffany Preece (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Nick Rabone (bass and vocals) and David Hall (drums). Debut album "Postcards" proved to be their breakthrough after it was released in 2008. It reached number 23 in the Australian Chart after being produced by Ben Hillier, who had also worked with Blur, Elbow and The Horrors. They have released four singles to date, titled "Morning Light", "Animals", "Too Much to Do" and "Jealousy". The band have toured in the UK with The Thrills, Jimmy Eat World and Vampire Weekend and also featured a Glastonbury appearance as part of their hectic summer schedule.
