Something Nasty In The Woodshed
"Something Nasty In The Woodshed are a band. Not a Folk band, nor a rock band but a band with their toes dappling in both ponds Some two and a half times larger than a duo, they take the jigs and reels from the attic of their ancestors and plug them into the national grid. With songs of Jacobean derring do and seagoing grief, they bring a refreshing blast of tempo and rhythm to the folk traditions of the British Isles without the aid of dodgy knitwear. With a line up featuring guitars (hollow and solid), six strings and one with four thick enough to tow a barge, mandolins, citterns, bagpipes ((digital& analog.....eh)?) and drums (he`s classically trained you know)), Something Nasty In The Woodshed travel in a really large van!
