Hello Christian & Matt well done on the Shy front! I also think Hinterland is brilliant. Throughly enjoyed the last couple of times I saw you's play at the Proud Galleries Camden and in the Grey Horse Kingston. Keep up the good work!!

SIXTY SECOND SILENCE
"Fuckin brilliant"
"tipped for the top by the people in the know (thats us by the way)" - Tourdates, issue 52

We are a 2-piece from London. We like mixing live guitars and drums with loops and samples. We like big riffs... We like beats... We like blues... We like to play loud and mix it together... A 2-piece rock'n'roll band that sound like The White Stripes playing with LCD Soundsystem and Holy Fuck.

"With influences as diverse as Pixies, The Cure, Led Zep, The Small Faces, Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem, they make a hell of a racket for a two-piece.

Just lately, they sound like The White Stripes and Second Coming-era Stone Roses jamming with New Order. Yup - told you they were good."

Sixty Second Silence are our new tip for 2009. Someone out there could make a load of dosh from these. If you can imagine the Stone Roses reborn as great musicians and then you'd have this lot. The sounds they made was hypnotic and dancey but without losing sight of the tunes. by the time they went on, most of the crowd were hammered and loving every minute of it. A definate must see - The Tube Club http://www.thetubeclub.co.uk/
