Shiva have been around since 2007, having first been brought together by our love of rock music at the legendary Felix’s School of Rock.
We quickly established ourselves on the local live music scene, and first came to the attention of the press when we appeared on Alex Zanes’s XFM breakfast show, actually playing live on air.
Our music is peppered with a million influences resulting in a truly unique style, difficult to categorize, but loved by all ages.
We’re a hard working determined band. When we’re not gigging, we’re rehearsing or writing new material.
In the last year we’ve become a regular feature in the local pubs and clubs, constantly being invited back to headline events.
Some of the more famous places we’ve played at include Camden Roundhouse, Barfly, Astoria, Dirty South, Hope Festival and the wonderful Hope and Anchor in Islington.
We recently produced our second EP, of which we’re very proud, but a recording can never capture the sheer excitement and energy of a Shiva gig.
Playing on stage and seeing hundreds of people jumping up and down and having the time of their lives to songs that we’ve written is the greatest feeling in the world.
