Rachel grew up in the Surrey countryside, with a passion for ‘all things music’ and a love for writing and performing. Having spent her teen years training as a vocalist, Rachel launched her career from a young age, performing backing vocals for artists such as Busted, Liberty X and Greg Lake (Emerson Lake & Palmer), but she soon realised that she was destined for brighter and bigger things. As her song writing developed, Rachel started to think about developing herself as an artiste. She started working with some fantastic musicians, and put together a band to play her songs. Based now in the seaside town of Brighton, Rachel has been tipped as ‘the UK’s Katy Perry’ and ‘one of the UK’s best up and coming artistes of 2011’.
Now launching her EP, Rachel is set to announce tour dates in early 2011.
