Hilldrops first and still remaining member Oliver Wilde is a 20 year old folk minstrel from the Wiltshire valleys whose songs reflect on people, places and surroundings in what he calls his musical journal. With three Eps and a Debut ‘‘Down, Out and Over Air’’ his prolific song writing is rounding up more material for a second album and possibly an Ep to record in late 2009. Oliver Wilde is an enjoyable listen with lyrical blossoms and intricate, delicate guitar playing with sometimes Indian references creeping through, there is much variety in musical preference.
