The most famous convict in the world was released from Lynwood jail last night. Paris Hilton, heiress to the Hilton fortune, left jail to the same media blitz that saw her enter, while commentators lamented her 'special treatment' by local law enforcement.
Hilton was charged for driving while her license had been suspended, which in turn followed an arrest for driving while under the influence. Judge Michael T. Sauer sentenced the 'celebutante' to jail and later ordered her return after the local Sheriff - Lee Baca - removed her on medical ground after only three days.
She completed her 24 day sentence and will walk straight into an interview with Larry King. This followed a bidding war between ABC and NBC, in which the star was reputedly offered up to $1million. Public backlash caused both networks to stand down, and she will now appear on King for free.
