Carl Barat and Pete Doherty are planning to play together this weekend at Glastonbury, according to reports.
The estranged bandmembers, who parted ways after Doherty was thrown out of the Libertines in 2004 for his excessive drug use, did perform together - albeit briefly - at a recent Doherty solo show in London - but their Glastonbury acoustic stage get-together looks like being a proper knees-up for Libertines fans, reports the Daily Mirror.
Both Barat's Dirty Pretty Things and Doherty's Babyshambles are scheduled to play on the Acoustic stage on Saturday.
"The lads have been talking about it for months," a source reveals. "Although they've both got their own bands now, neither has had anything like the acclaim The Libertines had.
"Pete and Carl are still arguing about what songs they're going to perform - but whatever they settle on, it'll be incredible."
