Thom Yorke has risen to the bait, delivering an eloquent put down to Noel Gallagher's recent - and predictable - tirade last week that criticized the Radiohead frontman for his University background.
The Oasis songwriter's seemingly weekly tirade against other musicians didn't go unnoticed by Yorke however, who unusually responded to Gallagher's rant.
"Thom Yorke sat at a piano singing, 'This is f**ked up,' for half an hour. We all know that, Mr Yorke. Who wants to sing the news? No matter how much you sit their twiddling, going, 'We're all doomed,' at the end of the day people will always want to hear you play Creep. Get over it." said Noel, before adding "I never went to f****** university. I don't know what a paint brush is, I never went to art school."
However, Yorke responded with a simple message on his official site, saying, "i did. it taught me to respect other artists."
