The R&B singer faces more legal woes over her Dec. 30 accident

Already facing a $50m wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of a woman killed in an automobile accident last December, entertainer Brandy now additionally faces a second lawsuit filed by the dead woman's children, it has been revealed.

[read: Brandy faces death crash lawsuit], actress and singer Brandy Norwood rear ended Awatef Aboudihaj's car in her Land Rover SUV at speed on the 30th December last year, resulting in Aboudihaj's death.
The family of the waitress filed suit on January 30th to the tune of $50m, citing wrongful death. However, it was revealed earlier this month that under California law the filing of a wrongful death suit by non-dependent parents is not permitted.
Seemingly in response to the latest twist, a statement by lawyer Paul Philips on behalf of Aboudihaj's two children confirmed a second lawsuit against Norwood was underway.
"Our clients are obviously devastated by this tragedy," said Philips in the statement. "Their lives are upside down, and as children they're really finding themselves having to deal with a loss they don't even fully comprehend yet."
