Robbie Williams constant battle with alcohol and drugs has led to him being admitted to rehab yet again - this time on the day of his 33rd birthday.
The star, who has lived in Los Angeles for the best part of a decade since enjoying huge solo success in Europe and the Far East, is reported to have checked himself into a U.S. clinic for treatment for dependency to prescription drugs.
Williams career has famously been blighted by his addictive personality, with 1995 the first year the singer hit the headlines for the wrong reasons.
"Robbie Williams has today been admitted into a treatment centre in America for his dependency on prescription drugs," his PR agent in London said. "There will be no further comment on this matter."
