Beyonce's 'Dreamgirls' picked up three major awards at the Golden Globes last night in Beverly Hills, California, but it was Jennifer Hudson, rather than Beyonce, who enjoyed the limelight.
The former American Idol star was nominated for Best Supporting Actress and took the win, alongside Eddie Murphy for Best Supporting Actor, while the musical also took the award for Best Musical or Comedy.
"Oh, my God. Thank you so much. Wow. I have always dreamed but never, ever this big," said Hudson at the ceremony.
'Dreamgirls' is expected to weigh heavily in this years Oscars ceremony, nominations for which are to be confirmed on January 23rd. However, as revealed exclusively last month on our sister site
Pop Revenge, Beyonce is likely to miss out on her dream of an Academy Award.
