Reformed girl band All Saints have issued a challenge to former Spice Girls members - reform and get ready for a chart battle.
Both acts reached their heyday in the late-90's, with All Saints bagging five number ones between 1997 and 2000, while the Spice Girls managed nine No. 1's, from July 1996 with "Wannabe" through to Holler / Let Love Lead The Way" in November 2000.
All Saints' comeback single "Rock Steady" entered the top five this week and singer Melanie Blatt says they're itching to see who will reign over a new audience. "The time is right for the Spice Girls to reform. We've done it, so should they."
