Evan Dando has reformed influential 90's alternative act The Lemonheads, with a new studio album and a series of tour dates in the UK and U.S. all confirmed.
The band - which includes frontman Evan Dando, bassist Josh Lattanzi and drummer John Kent, have also confirmed a UK tour in October, which comes just over a week after the new, self-titled album's release on September 25.
Their eighth studio set - and first in ten years - "The Lemonheads" features drummer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) and bassist Karl Alvarez (Descendents), with Dando and Stevenson co-producing the set in a remote Rocky Mountain hideaway.
Cameos come from bassist Josh Lattanzi (Poughkeepsie, Rule of Three & In Passing), rock veteran Garth Hudson (The Band, who plays keyboards on Black Gown and December), and Dinosaur JR's J. Mascis (No Backbone & Steve's Boy).
