Lostprophets latest album "Liberation Transmission" has been honoured as the Best Album at this year's Kerrang! Awards.
The annual ceremony took place at the Brewery, in the East End of London, last night and saw another welsh hard rock outfit - Bullet For My Valentine - enjoying a win. Their single "Tears Don't Fall" landed Best single.
With Lostprophets also taking the award for Best British Band it was left to My Chemical Romance to take the top award - Best Band On The Planet. Thrash metal act Bring Me The Horizon landed the award for best British Newcomer, while U.S. outfit Aiden landed best international newcomer.
This year's Kerrang! Hall Of Fame award went to Slayer.
