[read: George Michael escapes drugs rap], George Michael is again in hot water with police over an alleged car accident.
According to reports, the pop star is being investigated over claims he collided with three parked cars, and left the scene without leaving his details.
A report yesterday (April 17) in a British newspaper states witnesses were alerted to the accident in Highgate, North London - close to the star's Hampstead mansion - during the morning of Sunday, April 16, after hearing a loud crash, and saw the 42-year-old star at the wheel of a Range Rover parked up near a dented grey Ford Fiesta.
The local onlookers then claim the car drove away, hitting one other in the process, which shunted into a third vehicle.
"At 8.10am on Sunday police were informed of a Range Rover being in collision with a number of cars in Hornsey Lane, north London," a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said. "The vehicle was later found parked unattended. The driver has yet to be questioned."
