The pop stars to make their festival debut.Girls Aloud have been named today with a host of new acts for this year's V Festival.
The growing line-up now features We Are Scientists, The Cardigans, French indie pop stars Phoenix, The Saw Doctors and the Rifles.
Taking place between August 19-20, at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park Stafford, the event sold out in record time last month - with fans now resorting to ticket agencies and eBay to find deals.
Heading up the event are Radiohead, Morrissey, Beck, Razorlight, Paul Weller, Faithless, Bloc Party and many more.
