Girls Aloud have been named today with a host of new acts for this year's V Festival.

The growing line-up now features We Are Scientists, The Cardigans, French indie pop stars Phoenix, The Saw Doctors and the Rifles.

Taking place between August 19-20, at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park Stafford, the event sold out in record time last month - with fans now resorting to ticket agencies and eBay to find deals.

Heading up the event are Radiohead, Morrissey, Beck, Razorlight, Paul Weller, Faithless, Bloc Party and many more.

The full line up so far is; Radiohead, Faithless, Morrissey, Beck, Razorlight, Kasabian, Paul Weller, Hard Fi, Keane, Bloc Party, Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, The Charlatans, The Magic Numbers, Editors, The Ordinary Boys, Starsailor, The Go! Team, Rufus Wainwright, Sugababes, James Dean Bradfield, Delays, Kubb, Orson, The Feeling, Gavin De Graw, Daniel Powter, Bic Runga.
