Korn amongst the latest names.This year's Download Festival is taking shape, with two very big names revealed today.
Joining Metallica and The Prodigy at the top of the bill will be Korn and Deftones for the rock bash - held in Donington Park over the weekend of June 9-11.
Other acts already confirmed are Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine. More bands, and further details for Download 2006 are expected soon. The event is expected to build on its forward-thinking reputation by offering hundreds of acts set over four stages intersperced between entertainment attractions including an extreme sports arena, a cinema, internet cafes, markets and late-nite club.
Organisers have also confirmed a suit of VIP ticket packages, which offer a higher standard of camping, more facilities and access to the hospitality area.
