The band reportedly following INXS' path.Van Halen have reportedly signed up for a talent trek with 'Rock Star: The Series'.
According to reports this week, the hard rock act are looking for a replacement frontman following Sammy Hagar's departure. The band are planning a new album and possible world tour later this year.
In October last year, the band denied they would use the TV audition format to find a new vocalist, but have reportedly done a u-turn following the runaway success of 'Rock Star: INXS', which saw the Australian rockers hook up with unknown singer JD Fortune and embark on an international tour.
"I'm not denying it," Van Halen publicist Larry Solters is quoted as saying.
