The veteran electro rocker confirms a new album and tour.The king of the apocalyptic electro rock will continue his comeback this year with "Jagged", a new studio album backed by a major series of tour dates.
Gary Numan returned to the limelight he had long since departed with the 2003's critical and commercial success "Hybrid" and the new set plans to continue the trend, co-produced by Numan himself with electronic producer Ade Fenton. "Jagged" will be released on Mortal Records, via Cooking Vinyl.
"There's no need for me to take so long between albums," Numan told us in a 2003 interview. "I need to get a grip on my confidence. Working with a deadline really helps. It swill stop me being so introverted. I cant afford to be taking 3 years between albums - I'm gonna be 50 soon. It must be annoying for the fans as well At least 3 singles a year. Vibe the whole thing up. I want much more..."

Although further details on the album are not currently available, his UK tour schedule is, with 11 UK dates confirmed through April. A one-off London show comes on March 18 at the Forum, with a bigger date reportedly planned for June.
