Grant Nicolas recovering after damaging his vocal chords.
Feeder have confirmed that the remaining dates of their current UK tour, cancelled following frontman Grant Nicolas' illness, will take place in March 2006.
The trio were due to play shows at the Brighton Centre on December 2, Birmingham NEC on the 4th and two closing dates at London's Hammersmith Apollo from Dec. 5-6. However, Nicolas was forced to leave the stage halfway through the Brighton Centre set due to throat problems.
After receiving diagnosis from an ENT specialist, Nicolas was told he was suffering from a severe throat infection, causing bleeding on his vocal chords, and advised not to sing in the near future.
The rearranged dates will see the band play the remaining dates, including the Brighton Centre show, from March 21-25, 2006. Ticket holders for London and Birmingham have been advised to retain their tickets, while Brighton gig-goers will be issued new tickets by post.
Any ticketholders unable to attend the new dates have been advised to return their tickets before January 31 to the point of sale for a refund.
