The band up for five awards.Eleven years on from bagging their first Q Award, Oasis are back to claim five nominations, leading this year's list.
The band broke through in 1994, picking up the award for Best New Act. This year, they're looking to take home best live act, best album, best video and best act in the world today and best track for "The Importance Of Being Idle." Their main competition comes from Coldplay, who are up for four awards, while U2, James Blunt and Green Day each have three.
The coveted best album category will see Oasis' "Don't Believe The Truth" face off against James Blunt's "Back To Bedlam", Goldfrapp's "Supernature" and Kaiser Chiefs' "Employment".
