Stones discuss Live 8 no-show, future plans
Keith Richards is in typically conversational mood with the BBC's Newsnight
Keith Richards is in typically conversational mood with the BBC's Newsnight.

Keith Richards expects The Rolling Stones to continue touring and recording after their current, year-long 'A Bigger Bang' world tour, the guitarist has revealed in an interview.

Speaking to the BBC's Newsnight culture show, the 61-year-old said "The way these guys are going at the moment it's a pretty remote chance that this is the last one, quite honestly.

"It's almost like Hari Kari. I intend to live to 100 and go down in history,"

Jagger was a touch more pensive however; "I don't know - this is a long tour, I don't know what happens after this tour," he revealed.
