Magic Numbers play 2005 Diesel-U-Music Awards
Unsigned and major bands play the event once again sponsored by FX Rentals
This year's Awards Ceremony saw some of the brightest unsigned talent from across the UK play at London's Kings Cross at Canvas. Leading industry figures from Diesel's network partners FX, the Encompass music conference, Sanctuary Artist Management, the Music Managers' Forum, The Band Agency, CWNN, International Talent Booking and Westbury Music spent four months listening to demos.

The ceremony, hosted by Radio 1's Edith Bowman was invite-only and saw an audience of 250 from the music industry witness a host of new talent. Also presented on the night were accolades for Contribution to Music for Mark E Smith and Lifetime Achievement award, which went to Gang of Four.
