EMI Music Publishing has promoted Guy Moot to managing director of its U.K. publishing division.
Moot, who has been with EMI since 1987 and most recently was executive VP A&R for UK and Europe, succeeds Peter Reichardt, who is leaving the company after 16 years.
Prior to working at EMI Moot worked at ATV Music and Chrysalis Records. Moots singings to EMI are vast and varied and include the likes of dancehall star Sean Paul, pianist and singer/songwriter Jamie Cullum, UK urban artist Ms. Dynamite, North London singer Amy Winehouse, veteran dance act Prodigy, Jamiroquai, Kasabian, Eminem and Scissor Sisters.
