
Serj Tamkian and co will return to their day jobs later this year, clocking back on with a new release ahead of a world tour.
The band, currently preparing for an Australian tour later this month, have been out of the limelight since 2001's 'Toxicity'. During that time each band member has spun off onto a multitude of side projects, with frontman Tamkian remaining the most visible with his work on the 'Axis Of Justice' and 'Serjical Strike' projects.
SOAD have been working on "Mesmerize/Hypnotize" the follow up to their 2001, Grammy-winning album since early 2004 with Andy Wallace. Released as a double set, 'Mesmerize' is expected this Spring, while 'Hypnotize' will follow six-months later.
To support the release, a series of European dates have been confirmed, including three dates across the UK. They are:
