
Paul Weller is to perform an intimate acoustic set next month to raise funds for the UK's tsunami appeal, soundgenerator can exclusively reveal.
The former Jam frontman will be appearing alongside a host of DJ's and performers at the Feb 2. event to be held at Central London venue cargo.
Also set to make an appearance at the 500 capacity venue are DJ's Norman Jay, Gary Crowley, Keb Darge and Stuart Patterson, with many more artists due to be announced in the week's ahead. Ticket details are yet to be confirmed.
In other news, Weller has donated an exclusive track to the Radio Aid' campaign, which is broadcast tomorrow from 6am to 6pm nationwide across commercial radio.
Weller's cover of the Beatles' "Come Together" will be the central theme to the radio telethon, which will feature celebrity presenters such as Chris Evans, Zoe Ball, Sharon Osbourne and Johnny Vaughan alongside special guests including Michael Palin, Christian Slater, Ricky Gervais, Angelina Jolie and Paul Weller himself.
All monies donated throughout the day will go directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
