
Norah Jones has cancelled a concert appearance in Jakarta after warnings by government officials that a terrorist attack may be imminent.
The Grammy Award-winning jazz star was due to play the concert on March 1, reports concert promoter Java Musikindo. Jones cancellation mirrors Alicia Keys and classical group Bond, both of whom pulled tour dates following the September bomb attack on the Australian embassy in the Indonesian capital

Last week, government officials in the United States, UK and Australia all issued warnings against travel to the Asian country, citing intelligence that militants could be planning an attack during the Christmas period.
Java Musikindo said in the statement that it hopes "security conditions in Indonesia improve" to avoid future concert cancellations.
