Daddy G has long been one of the UK's most important musical figureheads and returns to the spotlight this month as the latest DJ to star on the "DJ Kicks" compilation.

Daddy G's mix is the latest in K7 records hugely popular DJ Kicks series, available on both CD and 12" vinyl. With his involvement with the Bristol scene, which has spawned artists including Smith & Mighty, Tricky and Portishead, you'd expect G's mix to be an eclectic affair, and it is; with a laid back sound covering dub, reggae, funk, disco and hip-hop.
