The Dixie Chicks have hit back at a campaign by pro-war demonstrators to derail their career - saying they'll 'never apologise' for their remarks.
The female country group were performing at last night's 'Vote For Change' show, which wrapped up its 11-state concert tour with a five-hour grand finale in Washington, D.C.
"We're trying to kiss up to James [Taylor] so that if our career doesn't work out we can play his band," singer Natalie Maines said jokingly as she addressed the Washington D.C crowd.
