2003 Royal Variety Performance is set to be the best ever as a host of performers from the world of music line up for this years Diamond Jubilee .

The legendary maestro himself, Luciano Pavarotti headlines an international galaxy of stars at the special 2003 Royal Variety Performance.
Pavarotti, the greatest operatic star of our time will perform in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh celebrating the 75th performance of The Royal Variety. For more than 40 years Pavarotti has entranced countless millions around the world with his thrilling tenor voice. Making his Royal Variety Performance debut Pavarotti performs hits that have made him one of the most respected and best-loved performers in the world.
Also, making their Royal Variety Performance debut this year are international chart-topper Daniel Bedingfield, teenage heart-throbs Busted, who made chart history with their first three singles, 16-year-old newcomer Hayley Westernra from New Zealand whose debut album has just broken all records as the fastest selling album in the history of the UK classical charts. Also appearing is the UK's own new jazz star Jamie Cullum.
Queen of Latin music Gloria Estefan will fly in specially from the US to perform a world exclusive with a new stunning rendition of her greatest hits. Also, from the US one of the biggest pop idols in history, Donny Osmond.
The group that has more consecutive Number One hits than any other band, the record-breaking Irish idols Westlife, are part of the entertainment calendar's most thrilling night.
One of Britain's top television personalities Cat Deeley presents The Royal Variety Performance for ITV1 which takes place this year at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre, in an evening that promises to combine the best of today's pop, show-stopping theatre, the world of opera and speciality acts, as well as a number of spectacular surprises.
The executive producer is Granada's Head Of Music Programming Jeff Thacker who says: "The world's greatest artistes in entertainment have always supported The Royal Variety Performance. This year, its diamond anniversary, is no exception!
"We are honoured to have such prestigious guests gather for this special event. There is something for everyone - a true Royal Variety Performance."
Laurie Mansfield, Life President of the Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund - the beneficiaries of the Royal Variety Performance - added:

The Royal Variety Performance, which is a Granada production, is being made for the ITV Network and will be shown on ITV1 later this year.
