Legendary punks
Rancid released 'Indestructible', their first album since 2000's ferocious 'Rancid', on August 25th via Hellcat.
Produced by Brett Gurewitz (producer for punk leaders such as NOFX and Pennywise and occasional Bad Religion guitarist), 'Indestructible' finds Rancid on top form mixing up an eclectic range of styles into their classic punk attack. >From the gang-call vocals of 'Born Frustrated' to the driving hardcore of 'Out Of Control' and the anthemic first single 'Fall Back Down' (out this week!), Rancid demonstrate fiery commitment and passion throughout their sixth full-length album.
Deftones release 'Hexagram' on September 22nd via Maverick as the second single to be taken from their eponymously titled Top 10 album.
Produced with Terry Date, 'Hexagram' is perhaps the most exhilaratingly violent track on 'Deftones', with vocalist Chino Moreno's scathing howl contrasting with the stabbing rhythms of the chorus.
Later in the week we'll have Deftones and Rancid audio/video for you...don't miss it!
