Libertines guitarist Pete Doherty gets a three-month jail term after pleading guilty to burglary.

Libertines guitarist Pete Doherty has received a six month jail term, with three month of which are suspended, after pleading guilty to burglary.
The 24-year old co-founding member of the Libertines has seen things fall apart recently after battling with drug addiction and has been estranged from the group for some months. He admitted to burglary of band mate Carl Barat's home on July 25th, in which he took an antique guitar, CD player and laptop computer among other things.
He was sentenced during a hearing at London's Horseferry Road Magistrates Court today (Sep 8th) and will serve three months of the six-month sentence.
