UK Tour Dates announced for October 2003.

Mogwai, having just put in one of the finest performances of the Glastonbury weekend, are pleased to announce a full UK tour for this October. These dates will be the only UK shows before the year's end and will see the band playing five dates across England and Scotland.
Full details are below.
The band's current LP 'Happy Songs For Happy People' has proved to be their most successful record to date, but this may come to an unbecoming end when the RSPCA get wind of the (animated) video for the gloriously beautiful opening track 'Hunted By A Freak'. Unfortunately in making the video, seven animals were seriously injured and two actually died. Those of a sensitive disposition would be best advised to avoid www.mogwai.co.uk. (Don't worry though... it is animated!)
The tour dates are:
October
18 - Manchester MDH
19 - Glasgow Barrowland
21 - Birmingham Sanctuary
22 - Bristol Academy
23 - London Astoria
Advance tickets are £12.50 (+ booking fee) everywhere except Glasgow & London where they are £14 (+ booking fee).
Further to the above Mogwai's other touring plans for the year include slots at the Montreux Jazz Festival and a headlining appearance at the Fuji Rock festival on 27th July.
