Staind added to main stage and many other announcements.
Many more acts have been announced for this years Carling Weekend festival, including Staind, Cave In and The Thrills.
Staind will play the main stage on August 22 in Reading and 23rd in Leeds before Linkin Park while Cave In and The Darkness will play the day Blur headline - 23rd in Reading and 24th in Leeds.
Further confirmations include Grandaddy, Jet, The Thrills, The Kills, Hell IS For Heroes, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, The Ravonettes and Radio 4.
Also announced is the line up for the concrete jungle stage, details of which are below;

The Carling Weekend festival takes place during the August Bank Holiday weekend of the 22-25 at both Temple Newsam in Leeds and Richfield Avenue in Reading. Headlining are Blur, Metallica and Linkin Park.
As recently reported, weekend passes for Reading have now sold out but day tickets are still available.
