Korn have been forced to cancel the remaining dates of their US tour because of a problem with Jonathan Davis' voice.
The hard rock group have been playing their 'Pop Sux!' tour across North America since November. However, singer Jonathan Davis has been told to rest by doctors to prevent permanent damage to his vocal chords - which means five shows, starting on Saturday (December 7) in Binghamton, have been axed.
A statement from the band said:
"Korn have been forced to cancel the five remaining US dates on their tour, due to the strained vocal cords of lead singer Jonathan Davis.
"Under the advisement of his vocal coach and doctors, these dates must be cancelled to prevent permanent damage to Davis' vocal cords."
The cancelled dates are:
Binghamton Broome County Arena (December 7)
Erie Civic Centre (8)
Utica Memorial Coliseum (10)
Reading Sovereign Centre (11)
Bridgeport Arena at Harbor Yard (12)
